Looking back on a project we are proud of, the CandleWood Hotel in Trois-Rivières, completed in late 2023, stands out for its warm and refined atmosphere, made possible through the use of engineered wood, a material recognized for its structural qualities and contribution to sustainable development.
The glulam timber structure connects two buildings and brings together a shared reception area and meeting rooms with a stunning view of the St. Lawrence River, an inspiring setting for business events.
Ambiance Bois Structures handled the design of the wood structure, in close collaboration with the project contributors.

Retour sur l’Hôtel CandleWood de Trois-Rivières, un projet dont nous sommes fiers, livré fin 2023, qui se distingue par une ambiance chaleureuse et raffinée, rendue possible grâce au bois d’ingénierie (lamellé-collé et CLT). Un matériau reconnu pour ses qualités structurales et sa contribution au développement durable.
La structure en bois lamellé-collé relie deux établissements et regroupe la réception ainsi que des salles de réunion offrant une vue imprenable sur le fleuve Saint-Laurent, un cadre idéal pour les événements d’affaires.
Ambiance Bois Structures a assuré la conception de la structure en bois d’ingénierie, en collaboration avec les différents intervenants du projet.
