Bureaux administratifs, salle de conférence, salle d’archives et garage municipal : le nouvel édifice de Saint-Elphège regroupe sous un même toit tous les services essentiels d’une municipalité, dans une structure en bois d’ingénierie dont les contreventements en V constituent la signature architecturale du projet.
Livré fin 2024, le nouveau bâtiment de 400 m² (4300 pc) est réalisé sur le site de l’ancien édifice municipal, mariant fonctionnalité opérationnelle et qualité architecturale.
La structure en bois lamellé-collé et en panneaux CLT est laissée entièrement apparente, où le bois massif joue à la fois le rôle structurel et le rôle esthétique.
Ambiance Bois Structures a assuré la conception de la structure en bois d’ingénierie, en collaboration avec l’ensemble des intervenants du projet, livrant un bâtiment qui répond à des fonctions à la fois administratives et techniques.

New Municipal Building – Saint-Elphège
Administrative offices, conference room, archive room and municipal garage: the new Saint-Elphège municipal building brings together all the essential services of a municipality under one roof, within an engineered wood structure whose V-shaped bracing defines the architectural signature of the project.
Delivered in late 2024, the new 400 m² building was constructed on the site of the former municipal building, combining operational functionality with architectural quality.
The glulam and CLT panel structure is left entirely exposed, with the mass timber playing both a structural and aesthetic role.
Ambiance Bois Structures was responsible for the engineered wood structure design, in collaboration with all project contributors , delivering a building that meets both administrative and technical functions.
